Become a Catholic

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) welcomes and initiates those who choose to become Catholic by providing Catholic Christian formation. RCIA is for adults:

  • Who never been baptized.
  • Who were baptized in another Christian denomination and now seek to become Catholic.
  • Who were baptized Catholic but never receievd the sacraments of Confirmation and the Eucharist.

There are several steps in this process that can last from one to three years depending on the readiness of each individual. We meet for classes on Sunday mornings from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. from August to May. We will have Holidays and Christmas Break. To get started, please contact Deacon Matt Calbrese. Helping candidates during the RCIA process is a great way to get involved in the Parish. We can use your help in the following ways: become a companion of faith for a candidate, be part of the RCIA team willing to share your faith and attend worship, Catholic Update and Basic Catechist certification programs.
